2007 Events

November 14th

First Annual Children's Contest sponsored by jimiArt and Springfieldmoms.org.  "What makes me happy" was the inspiration behind several Springfield youth's entries.  jimiArt will display the work from 6-7 p.m. at the gallery.  Unveiling of winners will start at 6:30.

October 7th

"Giving" Darfur: Palette for Life.  jimiArt will host an event in support of relief efforts in Darfur.  African cuisine, dancing, and art will be incorporated in the event's proceedings.  jimiArt's goal is to raise funds through an art competition and silent auction to purchase solar stoves for the families that are often attacked while attempting to pick up firewood in Darfur.
